Anyone can join PEN Canada as an Associate Member and support the cause of freedom of expression. Your annual membership dues will help to ensure that everyone's right to freedom of expression, the right on which all other rights depend, is upheld in Canada and around the world. We'll keep you in touch with our activities via our monthly e-bulletin and annual report, and let you know in advance about PEN events. You may choose to send appeals via our Rapid Action Network, on behalf of writers whose freedom of expression has been stifled.

Associate Membership is a nonvoting category of Membership.

Joining is easy:
- ONLINE: Click here to JOIN as an Associate Member with your credit card through Canada Helps. You may make one annual payment, or you may find it very convenient to pay your fee as a monthly donor. The amount you choose is deducted from your credit card each month, and you'll never receive a renewal notice. It's a great way to ensure PEN has a steady source of funds to carry out its work.
DOWNLOAD and fill out the Associate Membership form, and send it to us via post or fax with your membership fee (we accept cheques and VISA, MasterCard and American Express).
Once we receive your payment, we'll send you a welcome package, containing a copy of the PEN Charter, your membership card, your tax receipt and a copy of PEN Canada's most recent Annual Report.
FREE EXPRESSION CIRCLE: If you give more than your membership fee, you are acknowledged as a member of the Free Expression Circle.
